The Paid Ads Overview helps you understand how effectively your ad spend is generating leads.
This includes performance across:
  • Google Ads
  • Local Service Ads (LSA)
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads

Start With the Right Date Range

At the top of the report, you’ll see a date selector.

Most common use cases:

  • Monthly review → Previous month
  • Quarterly strategy → Full quarter
  • Big picture view → Year-to-date or full year
There are also filters available, but in most cases:
👉 You won’t need to adjust them — they’re primarily used for internal reporting.

Key Metrics to Watch

This section breaks down how your ads are performing — from visibility to lead generation.

1. Ad Spend

  • Total amount invested into ads during the selected timeframe
👉 This is your ads investment.

2. Impressions

  • Number of times your ads were shown
👉 This reflects your visibility.

3. Clicks

  • Number of people who clicked on your ads
👉 This shows interest and engagement.

4. Conversions (Leads)

  • Number of leads generated from your ads
Includes:
  • Phone calls
  • Form submissions
👉 This is one of the most important metrics — it represents real opportunities.

5. Cost Per Conversion (Cost Per Lead)

  • How much you’re paying to generate each lead
👉 Calculated as:
Ad Spend ÷ Conversions

6. Conversion Rate

  • Percentage of clicks that turn into leads
👉 Calculated as:
Conversions ÷ Clicks

7. Cost Per Click (CPC)

  • How much you’re paying for each click
👉 Calculated as:
Ad Spend ÷ Clicks

Ad Spend Over Time

This chart shows how your ad spend changes over time.
Use it to identify:
  • Budget increases or decreases
  • Seasonal trends
  • Scaling efforts

Campaign-Level Performance

If multiple campaigns are running, you’ll see a breakdown of key metrics by campaign.

  • Which campaigns are performing best
  • Where optimizations may be needed

How to Use This Report

This section helps you evaluate lead generation efficiency.
Use it to answer questions like:
  • Are we generating enough leads from our ad spend?
  • Is our cost per lead improving or increasing?

  • Are we investing the right amount into ads?
