04/02/26: Sales Jumpstart - New Conversations View
⭐ Quick note before we jump in
If you haven’t watched the Contacts Overview video yet, I’d recommend starting there first.
These two updates go hand-in-hand—and this will make a lot more sense once you’ve seen that.
What’s Changed
1. A More Organized Inbox
Your Conversations tab is your inbox.
Now it’s easier to navigate with clear views like:
- Assigned to Me
- All Conversations
- Followed by Me
- Team Inbox
👉 This helps you stay focused on the conversations that actually need your attention.
2. Cleaner Filters & Sorting
You can still filter by:
- Unread
- Recent
- Starred
Plus additional filters like:
- Mentions
- Last outbound message
- Tags
This makes it easier to stay organized as your lead volume grows.
3. Conversations + Contact Info in One Place (Big Upgrade)
Before, you had to jump between screens.
Now:
👉 You can view and update contact information directly inside the conversation.
That means:
- Add missing details
- Update phone/email
- See tags and source
4. Everything You Need—Without Leaving the Inbox
From the Conversations view, you can now access:
- Activity (website visits, form submissions)
- Opportunities
- Tasks
- Notes
- Appointments
👉 All in one place
This makes it faster to:
- Respond
- Update
- Move deals forward
5. Internal Comments for Team Communication
You can now leave internal comments inside conversations.
This is helpful for:
- Team collaboration
- Tracking context
- Keeping notes separate from customer messages
6. Do Not Disturb (Important)
You’ll now clearly see Do Not Disturb (DND) settings.
If a contact is marked as DND:
- Messages won’t send
- Calls won’t go through
👉 If something feels off with communication, check this first.
What This Means For You
This update makes your inbox:
- Easier to manage
- Faster to navigate
- More complete
And that matters—because speed and consistency win jobs.
What You Can Do On Your End
1. Use Conversations as Your Main Inbox
This should be your home base for lead communication.
Not your personal phone. Not scattered messages.
👉 One place = better follow-up
2. Stay on “Assigned to Me”
This keeps your focus on the leads you’re responsible for.
Simple—but powerful.
3. Update Info While You’re in the Conversation
Don’t wait.
If a lead gives you:
- Address
- Project details
👉 Add it right then and there.
4. Use Notes & Comments
Keep track of:
- What was discussed
- Next steps
- Important context
This helps you stay sharp and professional.
