04/02/26: Sales Jumpstart - New Contacts View
What’s Changed
1. Cleaner Contacts View
Your contact list now looks more like a clean spreadsheet.
You still see:
- Name
- Phone number
- Last activity
- Tags
But it’s easier to scan, sort, and work through your leads quickly.
2. Easier Smart Lists (Big Upgrade)
Before, creating lists required going through advanced filters.
Now you can:
- Click “+ Smart List”
- Name your list
- Apply filters
- Done
👉 This makes it much easier to segment:
- New leads
- Hot prospects
- Past clients
- Follow-ups
3. Contact Records Are More Organized
When you click into a contact, the layout is now much clearer.
It’s broken into three sections:
Left Side → Contact Info
- Contact details
- Tags
- Lead vs customer
- Source
New feature: Autosave
Any updates you make save instantly—no extra steps.
Center → Conversations
This is where all communication lives:
- Text messages
- Emails
- Call history
It’s the same functionality—just cleaner and easier to use.
You can also:
- Switch between SMS and email quickly
- Leave internal comments for your team
Right Side → Activity & Tools
Everything related to the contact is now organized here:
- Website activity
- Opportunities
- Tasks
- Notes
- Appointments
Notes are a big improvement:
- Add titles
- Color-code important info
- Attach files
4. Do Not Disturb (Important to Know)
You’ll now clearly see Do Not Disturb (DND) settings inside the contact.
If someone is marked as DND:
- Calls won’t go through
- Messages won’t go through
👉 If communication ever feels off, this is one of the first things to check.
💡Reminder: If you are moving opportunities into Spam stage in your pipeline, it will enable DND (be sure you aren't moving DBM team tests to Spam - simply delete our opportunity instead - don't worry, it won't delete our contact, just the opportunity!)
What This Means For You
Nothing about your system changed at a high level.
But this update makes it:
- Faster to navigate
- Easier to manage leads
- More organized day-to-day
What You Can Do On Your End
1. Use Smart Lists to Stay Organized
Segment your contacts so you’re not guessing who to follow up with.
This is one of the easiest ways to stay consistent.
2. Leave Notes + Context
Use the improved notes section or internal comments to track:
- Project details
- Preferences
- Conversations
This helps you (and your team) stay aligned.
3. Double-Check Do Not Disturb When Needed
If a lead says they didn’t get a call or message:
👉 Check DND first.
